Our goal is to support a balanced ecosystem where educators can discover quality resources while ensuring creators are fairly compensated for their work.
Publishers can choose to publish decks to the Boom Store for free, but we ask that publishers maintain the majority of their decks and bundles are listed for a price.
Publishing Limits
Non-Premier Publishers will be able to publish up to 20 free decks at one time.
Premier Publishers can have up to 15% plus 1 of their selection listed as free. If a Premier publisher has 20 decks published to the store, 4 of those decks can be free. To publish more free decks, you can publish more decks for a price.
If you meet the limit:
- When setting a deck’s price to free, you’ll receive an alert if you’ve reached your limit.
- You’ll be prompted to reduce the number of free decks before adding a new one.
- Stores exceeding the limit will be temporarily blocked from publishing new free decks until adjustments are made.
Deck Statistics
To see how many decks you have published for free in the store, you can see the statistics in your Studio tab under your deck manager.
You will be shown the total, which is the total number of decks in your studio. That number is then broken up by published and unpublished.
Your published decks will be broken up into free and paid decks.
