What are you actually purchasing? (Quick overview)
When buying Boom for a school or district, you’re typically choosing between:
Subscriptions – Give teachers access to create, assign, and track Boom Cards
Points – A shared budget used to purchase Boom Cards from the store
Most schools use a combination of both.
All purchases are managed through a central Admin Dashboard, which allows you to assign, monitor, and reallocate resources across staff.
Subscriptions
For organization we offer 2 Subscription options; Boom Passport and Boom Access+.
Boom Passport includes access to over 80,000 vetted decks in the Boom Store without the need to purchase points.
Boom Access+ requires Curriculum Points to buy decks.
Both included educator access to:
- 17 flexible groupings/classrooms per teacher account
- The ability to create unlimited self-made decks with animated Gifs and sound.
- In-depth student reports with Live Monitoring.
- The ability to easily share self-made decks using the private School Store feature.
- The ability to share students with the Colleagues tool or via integration with a compatible LMS.
- A variety of SSO options, including ClassLink, Clever, Google, Microsoft, and Canvas.
Curriculum Points
Boom Cards and other premium content is accessed using Curriculum Points, which are purchased separately from your Boom Access+ Subscription.
- Curriculum Points are redeemed in the store for premium Boom Cards, images, fonts, and Printables.
- Content is added to a teacher’s library and does not expire, allowing users to build a resource library over time.
- Unused Points purchased prior to June 8th 2026 do not expire and can be reclaimed and redistributed to other users via the School Dashboard
- Points purchased on or after June 8th 2026 expire when the subscription expires.
- Unused Points balances automatically roll over from year to year as long as an active subscription is maintained.

What if someone Already has an Account?

Buying Points for Boom Cards or Memberships
The buying process is covered in more detail in the article Buying Boom Learning for a School or Organization.
Step One - Request A Quote
To get a customized quote for your school or district:
- Complete the Request a Demo or Quote Form or email us at Sale@boomlearning.com
- Provide an estimate of:

Step Two - Legal Agreements and any other required documents
There are two main categories of agreements: Privacy Agreements and Terms of Purchase/Service. We must have certain privacy terms and licensing terms in our agreements with you. Questions regarding specific terms or language in our agreements should be directed to legal@boomlearning.com.
Step Three - submit a Purchase Order or Payment
You can send your purchase order directly to your sales agent or email the purchase order to sales@boomlearning.com or reply to the ticket your agent opened for you. We understand some schools require a fax number to complete a PO. You may use this number (425) 405-6436.
